Who we are
Taking the next faithful step.
Light & Truth Academy is currently a private Christian homeschool serving our family. We created the academy to provide our children with a Christ-centered education rooted in Scripture, strong academics, meaningful family relationships, and a love of learning.
For now, our focus is faithfully educating the children God has entrusted to us. As we grow, we remain prayerfully open to the possibility of becoming a Christian homeschool cooperative or hybrid school if and when God leads us in that direction.
Light & Truth Academy is not currently accepting enrollment or outside students. We are simply taking the next faithful step while trusting God to guide what comes afterward.

At Light & Truth Academy, Christ is at the center of everything we teach. We believe education is not simply about gaining knowledge, but about growing in wisdom, developing strong character, and learning to recognize God's truth throughout every area of life. Each subject is approached through a biblical worldview, encouraging students to think carefully, ask meaningful questions, and see the order and beauty of God's creation.
We thoughtfully select curriculum that supports both academic growth and our Christian values. Our current studies include Christian Light Education for mathematics and reading, Notgrass History for a faith-based exploration of history, and Master Books for science. These resources provide structure and strong academic foundations while allowing us to adapt lessons to the individual needs, abilities, and interests of each child.

Bible curriculum
The Bible as One Story
Scripture itself is our primary Bible curriculum. We also use our personally developed program, The Bible as One Story, which helps students understand the Bible as one unified account of God's plan—from Creation, through Christ, and toward His promised return.
Lessons explore how the books of the Bible connect while incorporating historical and cultural context, biblical geography, original Hebrew and Greek words, discussion, and hands-on learning through art, building, timelines, and creative activities. Our goal is for students not only to know individual Bible stories, but to understand how each one points to Jesus and fits within the greater story of God's love and redemption.
Faith & values
“Send out Your light and Your truth.”
Our faith and values are rooted in Psalm 43:3. We believe God is the source of all wisdom, instruction, light, and truth. We seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture, trusting Him to direct both our education and our daily lives.
Instruction
Scripture shapes what we teach, how we teach, and the character we seek to develop.

We seek God’s understanding, practice discernment, and apply biblical truth to daily life.
Light
We follow God faithfully, reflect the love of Christ, and bring hope and kindness to others.

We build every area of learning upon the dependable, unchanging foundation of God’s Word.
Our desire is that each child would learn to seek God first, walk in His light, stand firmly in His truth, and trust Him to lead every step of the way.
